Our annual My Entertainment World Award Season began today with the My Theatre Award Nominees and now it’s time for our 5th annual My TV Awards. Still coming are the My Cinema Award nominees. Then we’ll kick off our Nominee Interview Series and announce the Winners, Performers of the Year and recipients of our yearly Honorary Award.

The following is a list of the 2011 My TV Award nominees. Any show that aired episodes between Jan 1 and Dec 31 2011 qualifies for an award (for the record, we work off of Friday Night Lights‘ NBC run, not the earlier Direct TV one). Nominees have been divided into 37 categories with Drama and Dramedy listed together so we could get around the genre-defying confusion of shows like The Big C and Shameless.

Please post a comment or send us an email if you wish to share your thoughts, predictions or votes. (Nominees can email us any time at kelly@myentertainmentworld.ca to sign up to be included in our 2011 Nominee Interview Series).

Congratulations to all the nominees!
